Final Fantasy Gaiden Soars to the DS

The teaser site's countdown still has 4 days to go as of writing this, but the game has already been revealed by Japan's JUMP magazine to be "Four Warriors of Light" Final Fantasy Gaiden. This explains the number 4 on the teaser, but also refutes earlier theories that it might be Saga 4 or Romancing Saga 4. Final Fantasy Gaiden is an original title that is scheduled to come out in Japan this fall. I especially like that Akihiko Yoshida (FFT, Vagrant Story, FFXII) will be the character designer.

Currently Playing - Retro Gaming: Megaman 2

So I just started playing this classic and yeah...it's a challenging game, but still very fun. Ofcourse, this is even after almost 30 deaths on Quick Man's stage alone trying to get past each screen without getting fried by lasers. I've downed 4 bosses already so I guess that's halfway not counting Dr. Wily's castle, haha.

Full review coming up once I finish it. *gets back to the annoying blocks on Heat Man's stage*

Sony Patents Emotion Engine Emulation For Cell Processors

Recent article hints that Sony may be working on a software (most likely part of a firmware update) that would enable all existing Playstation 3 hardware to run ps2 games. Whether or not you own a ps3 that is ps2 backward compatible, this is certainly good news as it is very likely that more ps2 games will be made available for everyone at psn should this happen.
